About
I work with traditional stained-glass techniques. With a deliberate sense of naivety, I aim to go back to the original purpose of stained-glass: to depict stories, guiding individuals through cycles of transition, death and rebirth. I draw from symbols and figurative narratives, weaving together strands of fables, folklore, and mythologies; stirring the dust, revisiting familiar grounds and bridging old storytelling traditions with contemporary reflections on transformation and coexistence.
I am also an independent curator. In my practice, I gather personal and collective experiences to explore affective notions, such as loss and grief, place attachment, public feelings, and ritualism. Doing so, I aim to make visible the vulnerability of humans, society, and eco-systems, while showing that living and dying well are impossible alone.
